2007 Porsche 911 Turbo on the track

Porsche currently announced a brand new 911 Turbo S will be making its first appearance in Geneva motor show in March 2010. You will not believe how fast it is. It is faster than 458 Italia (Ferrari). If you do not know how fast Ferrari 458 is then let me tell you it does 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds where as the new 911 is exactly 0.1 faster than the Ferrari with 0-62 mph in 3.3 secs. Big news in UK these days is that Birmingham Florists are looking to purchase the new 911 to improve their delivery service. I am just kidding.

Though it would be quite cool to see them deliver birthday flowers, wedding flowers, spring flowers, get well soon flowers, anniversary flowers or funeral flowers in the fastest Porsche. Their slogan of delivery within 24 hours in Birmingham will dramatically change to delivery within few seconds in Birmingham.

How about an idea of giving away the new Porsche for one selected florist and then filming his life as a real life tv show to see the changes it has made to his life and business. Or may be not.

Now getting back to the car unfortunately there one bad side which is the cost of the car. It is the fastest Porsche ever made so far but also double the price of entry level GT-R which costs around £60,000. In this defence Porsche said that this car is for people who enjoy greater power, performance and driving dynamics, which means to get all that you have to spend just about 50,000 more than a normal Porsche. Here I thought the alloys were made of diamonds. I am just joking again. To be honest I am looking forward to the new Porsche, obviously I won’t have enough money to buy it may be can hire it for a little test drive.
